Filters in the sidebar: Apply and Clear buttons before running filters
Alex
Most websites use the settings - AJAX store, Scroll up after AJAX
Currently, filters and their widgets are implemented in such a way that each use is a separate request (server load) and scrolling up, in fact, the absolute majority of users need to use combinations of many different filters, so this behavior annoys them (especially on mobile, when they have to constantly reopen the sidebar with filters)
A proposal to add a few more behavior options:
Mobile: add 2 fixed buttons (Apply and Clear) at the bottom of the sidebar with filters, visually it can be implemented similarly to the fixed buttons for going to the checkout/cart in the sidebar of the cart
Desktop: after clicking on the filter, display the Apply button next to it, when selecting the next filters similarly (everything that was previously selected, but without clicking the Apply button, should not be reset). Application should occur only after clicking this button. After the first filter selection, but before clicking the Apply button, a button should appear above the filters to clear filters that have not yet been applied or have already been applied.
In both cases desktop/mobile (before applying filters) when refreshing the page (e.g. via F5) or navigating to another page, the filters should be cleared

Is there any update about this request?

The absence of an “Apply Filters” button in the off‑canvas sidebar is a major usability issue. At present, users are forced to reopen the sidebar multiple times just to refine their search, instead of being able to select all desired filters and then apply them in one step. This workflow is unnecessarily frustrating and inefficient.
It’s surprising that this hasn’t been prioritized over features like floating blocks or popups. While those enhancements are nice to have, the filter system is fundamental to the shopping experience. For years now, the response has been that implementing this feature is “not easy”—but neither was rewriting the popups builder, and that was accomplished. Surely filters deserve equal, if not greater, attention.
Other themes, such as Blocksy, already provide this functionality along with additional filter options. Without an “Apply Filters” mechanism, the current system feels incomplete and undermines the overall user experience. Please consider adding this feature (or something similar) as a priority—it would make the product filters far more usable and effective. Please dont worry about a new product, please add this functionality to the filter system first. Woodmart is a leading theme for woo stores, yet you cannot even do the above

Wow! Thank you I have been asking for this functionality for 3 years! Yes a simple "Apply Filters' system would stop having to select each filter individually then waiting for result then pick another, then another...so frustrating! It has taken me three years without result, maybe it will take you less.
