Make filters and search SEO Friendly

This is the greatest thing Woodmart can do for the SEO of the theme.
You need to make the filter URLs like this: https://websitename.com/filter/color/black/ and also make the filters to have different SEO H1 Titles, like if someone is on the category t-shirts and filters black color the H1 title to be: "Black T-shirts" and the URL to be like: https://websitename.com/product-category/t-shirts/filter/color/black/
This way filter pages and category/tag pages can crate new pages which are SEO friendly and can rank for the keywords which are basically long-tail. It is important to be made with two ways:
- You can add template the H1 titles for every filter inside of an attribute like: %color% %category% and the description like this: %category_description% %color% %category_title% %page%
- The second way will be to manually create the pages and manually make the H1 tags and descriptions for every filter/attribute and its category/tag - this way it will be even more powerful.
The same thing can be done with the searches. You can make it like https://websitename.com/search/searchterm/
The Title of the page can be something like: You are searching for "Searchterm"? Take a look at our offers!
This way the searches can start ranking also and can be created like pages. This thing can also be done manually or have a list of all searches of the website and the admin to be able to include or exclude the search pages from the sitemap and indexing.

This is a great example. These options will surely make Woodmart the most SEO friendly theme with the best options for Filters and Search.
I know that this can be hard to achieve but it is very important and will make Woodmart stand out from the competition.

You can create archives for filters terms using attributes archives; Woodmart Layouts allow to create template for these pages, I did like this.

EM Yes, but if the filters are made like I am suggesting there will be no duplicate content issue. Right now there is a duplicate content issue with the ?filter page and the filter archive page.

Gencho Tanev duplicate content can happen just if you index filter results; usually parameters with ? are blocked in robots.txt to avoid it and it's correct also for crawl budget. Using attribute archives you can easily decide what to index instead of index so many useless pages for users (for example, some filters may generate a couple of products, they will never rank with filter page). I agree it can be good in some cases if you have a lot of products, so, for example, you want to have /shoes/pink/ instead of /shoes/?filter_color=pink or choose a custom url (/pink-shoes/). I did something like this creating custom urls with Jet Filters plugin in the past. It may be a good inspiration for what you are asking for. It would be amazing for SEO because it's not going to index all pages with filters, but just those that have custom urls.
